Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support laboratory operations focused on the evaluation and performance testing of advanced fluid-based materials used in printing technologies. This role involves preparing test samples, operating laboratory instrumentation, and documenting results to support product development and application studies. Key Responsibilities Prepare and handle liquid-based material samples for testing and analysis Conduct routine laboratory tests using standard equipment and established procedures Operate, maintain, and calibrate lab instruments to ensure accurate results Record, analyze, and report experimental data in a clear and organized manner Assist in the development and refinement of testing methods and protocols Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures Collaborate with team members to support ongoing research and application projects Qualifications Previous laboratory experience required (academic or industry) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field preferred Familiarity with laboratory testing techniques and basic analytical equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures Good organizational and time management skills Proficiency in documenting results and using basic computer applications (e.g., Excel, data systems) Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
