QC Supervisor

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for testing and verifying products manufactured on various machines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Comply with all safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment and minimize workplace hazards.

Participate in training related to operation of machine and related paperwork, increase knowledge and awareness to identify material that is substandard and report to supervisor, as required.

Conduct in-process checks as machines are being set up to run.

Perform any lab tests as required on products to confirm compliance with specifications.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Document all results by completing inspection logs and reports, then input data into the QC database.

Perform other similar and related duties as assigned or instructed by supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to read measurements via tape measure/ruler, OD tape, Caliper, and a MicrometerAbility to read and understand product drawings and instructions.

Knowledge of current OSHA safety rules and regulations Good communication skills and patience.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Frequently required to stand.
