Months Job Duties:

Manage laboratory samples and document retention systems. Perform sample grinding, labeling, weighing, and preparation for analysis. Conduct NIR scanning of laboratory samples. Support forage sample analysis and processing activities. Maintain laboratory housekeeping and cleanliness standards. Follow all workplace safety policies and laboratory procedures. Accurately organize and prioritize daily laboratory tasks. Work collaboratively with the processing team to meet operational goals. Utilize Microsoft Office 365 and related tools for documentation and reporting. Comply with laboratory PPE and safety needed, including respirator guidelines when applicable.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma Minimum 1+ year of relevant laboratory experience from chemistry/food/microbiology/biology or similar Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and related tools. Ability to work onsite five (5) days per week. Ability to follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards. Must wear leather shoes in the laboratory (contractor responsible for providing appropriate footwear). Able to work around ingredient samples containing allergens. Experience with laboratory sample preparation and processing preferred. Experience operating NIR scanning equipment preferred. Previous experience in a food, agricultural, or analytical laboratory environment preferred.
