Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sample Sendout and Systems Coordinator. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of lab testing by executing excellence in sample processing and comminution techniques. You will be responsible for preparing samples, maintaining organizational structure, and following lab safety and quality requirements. Responsibilities

Follow preparation techniques for processing samples for lab testing using grinding mills and other comminution techniques.

Ensure accurate labeling of sample cups with assigned unique identifiers.

Record sample preparation techniques and delivery details into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software.

Maintain organizational structure of samples by accurately delivering and disposing of samples as necessary.

Execute submission requests through third-party labs by logging samples and preparing them for shipment.

Follow all lab safety and quality requirements and procedures (i.e., PPE, GMP, OSHA, ISO).

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a lab setting and/or AS or BS in a science-related field.

Ability to use multiple computer systems (LIMS, Microsoft Office).

Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and prioritization of tasks.

Able to lift 40 pounds and stand for 5-6 hours daily.

Possess strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Preferences

Broad knowledge of food testing services.

Proficient in professional written and verbal communication.

Demonstrates flexibility in daily tasks and changes in workload.
