Job Description:
Immediate Need! We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary Lab Technician to join our successful team. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, prepare, and conduct testing on various samples to ensure quality and accuracy. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct routine cleaning and testing to verify the sterility of equipment and workspaces. Provide technical support to fellow team members and assist in troubleshooting any equipment or process issues. Present comprehensive results and findings to senior staff, using clear and concise methods. Write detailed reports, reviews, and summaries documenting procedures and results.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a laboratory setting is preferred, with a focus on microbiology or bench work. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and be proactive in problem-solving
Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
