Job Description Biotrax Testing Lab is looking for a motivated Lab Technician/External Logistics to expand their growing team in Cheektowaga, N.Y. Biotrax is a product laboratory that specializes in food and water microbiology. This position is in-person and is looking for an individual to join the Biotrax family. Qualifications o Lifting requirement of approximately 50 pounds o B.S. in a science degree from an accredited institution. o Ability to work with multiple analytes and methods within a shift. o Interface with Clients and pick up samples o Must have a Driver's License Preferred Qualifications o Microbiological experience o Experience processing industrial samples. o Customer Service Skills Responsibilities Perform various laboratory analyses in support of clients per NYS regulations Performs all tasks in a safe and environmentally sound manner Adheres to all policies and guidelines Follows appropriate SOPs to establish quality product and accurate data Drive Throughout Western New York Understanding the accuracy and uncertainty of results Performing client directed investigations when necessary Work with the Biotrax team to maintain Quality Assurance. Cross train into other areas of the laboratory CAPA investigations Understand Traceability of measurements Climb stairs and lift ~50lbs Analyst will participate in the setup of equipment and methodology Compliance documentation related to areas of responsibility Additional duties as required
