Job Description
Senior Technician, Quality Control Lab Technician Schenectady, NY (USA) Monday
- Friday, 7:30am
- 4pm (Some flexibility in start time)
Pay Range:
$25.00- $28.
Responsibilities:
- Logs incoming production and raw material samples for analytical testing.
- Reviews data to endure accuracy prior to reporting.
- Performs administrative lab tasks, such as updating SOP's.
- Keeps supervisor informed of work status and suggests follow-up action to resolve atypical results and any problems encountered.
- Maintains good documentation practices.
- Ensures incidents are investigated, reported, and risks are assessed in a timely basis.
- Acts in such a way that safety awareness & accident prevention are considered in performing all tasks.

You bring:
- High School diploma required.
- 0-3 years of lab experience.
- General knowledge of quality control techniques.
- Understanding of safety, laboratory hygiene and GMP rules.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (outlook, word, and excel).
- Food manufacturing a plus. (Or dietary supplements, premix etc.) The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. HOURLY $25.00
