Contract (likely to convert on full time) Position Overview We are seeking an Associate Quality Analyst to support sensory evaluation, quality testing, and food safety activities within a laboratory environment. This role will involve hands-on sample preparation, participation in sensory panels, evaluation of raw materials and finished products, and documentation of quality concerns. The ideal candidate will have a background in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science or a related discipline, along with strong attention to detail and an interest in developing sensory evaluation skills. Key Responsibilities Successfully complete an initial sensory screening and qualification test. Participate in local sensory training sessions and ongoing development. Learn and perform sample preparation for a variety of sensory sessions and panels. Evaluate raw materials, finished goods, and intermediates while providing basic sensory descriptors. Participate in global round-robin sensory testing. Document and communicate non-conformances to appropriate Quality personnel. Work toward developing skills as a junior sensory taster. Follow all applicable GMP, Food Safety, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and internal safety requirements. Maintain compliance with food safety requirements. Attend required site training sessions, including hazardous waste and other safety-related training. Maintain excellent attendance, flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to work. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned. Requirements Vocational diploma in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline; university degree preferred. 0-2 years of industry experience preferred. Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous materials, and applicable local regulations. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. Ability to work effectively in a laboratory and quality-focused environment. Important Requirements Must be able to participate in sensory evaluations and consume all food products/samples as required. No food allergies that would prevent participation in sensory testing. Must be available to work the full Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:30 PM schedule.

$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
