About the Role We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our plastics compounding team. In this role, you will play a critical part in our quality control and product development efforts, testing a variety of raw materials and finished polymer products. Your work will help ensure that our products consistently meet both internal and customer specifications. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will work closely with our production and technical teams. Key Responsibilities Conduct quality control tests on incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including lab extruder, injection molders, and various analytical instruments. Prepare and produce laboratory-scale samples for new product development and R&D trials. Record and analyze test data accurately, providing clear summaries and interpretations to the Lab Manager and engineering teams. Perform color analysis and matching for custom plastic products according to client specifications. Assist in troubleshooting product development issues and resolving quality control concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment by adhering to strict safety protocols and company standards. Maintain detailed records and documentation for all testing procedures and results.

Required Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
