Dexterity and Motor Skills:

o Sufficient fine motor skills and manual dexterity for handling specimens, operating laboratory equipment, and manipulating tools and instruments (e.g., pipettors). o Precise hand-eye coordination for delicate tasks like handling needles and preparing slides.

Vision and Sight:

o Ability to see details at close range (near vision). o Good visual acuity to study specimens under a microscope. o Ability to distinguish colors and shades (color vision) for observing chemical reactions and microscopic details.

Standing and Movement:

o Ability to stand and sit for extended periods, especially while operating equipment or performing microscopic analysis. o Ability to move freely within the laboratory, including patient care areas and corridors. o Ability to travel to clinical experience sites, as required.

Lifting and Carrying:

o Ability to lift and move objects of at least 20 pounds. o Some positions may require lifting and/or carrying objects up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Other Physical Requirements:

o Adequate physical stamina to tolerate physically taxing workloads. o Ability to maintain balance and avoid dizziness or lightheadedness, particularly when working alone or in a fast-paced environment.
