Job Description

Electrical Test Technician - Warren, Ohio Unitek is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Test Technician to join our growing operations team in Warren, Ohio. This hands-on role focuses on testing automotive electrical components, including connectors, terminals, splices, and fuse centers. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Set up and perform electrical testing in accordance with customer and OEM specifications. Prepare test samples and operate laboratory equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes. Monitor testing activities and ensure project milestones are completed on schedule. Record, analyze, and document test data and results. Prepare detailed test reports and maintain accurate records. Build, modify, and maintain test fixtures and laboratory equipment with minimal supervision. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and management to support testing objectives. Communicate with customers as needed regarding test activities and results. Set up and perform electrical tests per customer and OEM specifications. Qualifications Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in a testing-related field. Solid understanding of electrical concepts including voltage, AC/DC, and Ohm's Law. Experience using electrical test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and test procedures. Team-oriented with a proactive attitude. Must have ability to work 1st Shift (7:00AM-4:00PM) and willingness to work occasional overtime (typically 40-45 hours per week).
