We're hiring a safety-focused Lab Technician to prepare and test chemical, material, and plastic samples using analytical instruments. You'll collect and organize data that helps internal research teams make informed decisions. Job Duties Prepare samples and perform laboratory testing, including Rheology and GPC Operate analytical instruments according to established procedures Collect, organize, and share testing data with internal customers Perform basic data analysis as needed Maintain organized sample and data inventories Follow all safety, environmental, health, and security procedures Exercise Stop Work responsibility when unsafe conditions are identified Required Qualifications High school diploma and more than one year of analytical or research laboratory experience, or a bachelor's degree in a science-related field Ability to work independently following initial training Strong interpersonal and communication skills Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodationPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with Rheology, Chromatography, GPC, HPLC, HPLC/MS, FTIR, Raman, DSC, TGA, HPOIT, optical microscopy, or microtomy.
