Start Date:
Jun 22, 2026 We are looking for a Lab Technician, supporting our client's senior Innovators in bringing concepts to life. This is a high-energy, technical role centered on machine operation, prototype craftsmanship, and mid-scale production runs. If you have a "maker" mindset and love figuring out how machines work, this is your spot. This is a year-long engagement working in Beaverton, OR. Past professional experience working in plastics, the consumer goods industry, or the biomedical industries is preferred.
Responsibilities Execute & Iterate:
Operate and adjust machinery to create samples ranging from one-off prototypes to mid-scale production.
Technical Prep:
Manage scheduling, tool readiness, and material staging for process trials.
Precision Crafting:
Ensure perfect alignment and quality in high-volume, repetitive builds.
Data & Ops:
Record measurements, track sample progress, and maintain a clean, organized lab environment.
Cross-Train:
Start in one specialized area and expand your expertise across a variety of industrial machines.
Qualifications Experience:
2-4 years in manufacturing, prototyping, or a laboratory environment.
Technical Chops:
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic Adobe Illustrator skills.
The Maker Mindset:
You likely have a "hands-on" hobby (woodworking, ceramics, model building, etc.) and a passion for craftsmanship.
Agility:
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and lift up to 30 lbs.
Backgrounds of Interest:
