Follow our established protocols and standard procedures for laboratory safety, quality, and performance of tasks, producing work results that pass quality control verification. Prepare samples for testing, including weighing, compositing, extracting, etc., ensuring accuracy and consistency, working under the supervision of a mentioning Scientist or Technician. Prepare standards and solutions for use in the lab. Accurately perform routine calibration checks, temperature verification, and other checks and monitoring activities. Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment within scope of training. Perform laboratory housekeeping tasks. Conduct other support functions as assigned. Document work performed meticulously, ensuring compliance with quality control standards. Successfully participate in training sessions to increase skills and knowledge related to laboratory procedures and practices. Qualifications Must be 18 years old or over with high school diploma or equivalent. Laboratory experience or science degree a plus (e.g., AA, AS, BS or minor in chemistry or related field desirable but not required). Successful candidate will be able to multitask well in a high-throughput environment, be flexible to changing priorities, and keep faithful records. Must be able to read, understand and implement written protocols and procedures, and follow supervisory guidance. Legible handwriting a must. Job requires basic computer skills and proficiency in mathematical calculations relevant to entry level laboratory work. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Office, Outlook, Exel) desired. Training will be provided in use of custom LIMS software (Laboratory Information Management System) suitable to job responsibilities.
