Hourly Job Summary:

Seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support our Food Safety, Quality, and Operations teams with 2-3 years minimal quality laboratory testing experience. We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support our Food Safety, Quality, and Operations teams Responsible for performing routine analytical and laboratory testing, monitoring instrumentation performance, documenting results, and supporting food safety and quality programs. Able to work independently with minimal supervision, accurately interpret procedures and specifications, and communicate results effectively across the organization. Perform routine quantitative and qualitative inspections and laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished products. Conduct analytical testing under intermediate supervision while supporting more complex trials and experiments. Complete product testing and accurately document results in databases and laboratory systems. Communicate testing results to internal customers and cross-functional teams as required. Monitor laboratory instrumentation performance and perform calibration checks, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting/repairs. Maintain customer specifications and laboratory documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support and promote a strong food safety, quality, and regulatory culture across the facility. Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, regulatory, and laboratory procedures. Interpret and follow testing programs, specifications, and written procedures with limited oversight. Handle routine clerical, administrative, technical, and customer support activities while escalating complex issues when necessary. Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, specifications, and procedural documentation. Prepare routine reports, records, and correspondence.

Qualifications :

Quality laboratory testing experience and demonstrate competency in most, if not all, of the following: Karl Fischer moisture analysis NIR fat analysis Brookfield viscosity testing Fineness analysis Sanitary tank and product sampling Strong ability to read, understand, and apply written programs, procedures, and specifications. Ability to independently interpret procedural requirements and take appropriate action based on documented expectations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and commitment to compliance and quality standards. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training. 2-3 years minimal quality laboratory testing experience. Preferred Qualifications Environmental monitoring and swabbing experience. SAP experience, particularly with: Quality result entry, Microbiological result entry, Product review and release, Product hold management, SAP TC2 transactions Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or other quality systems related to product review and release.
