20 Our client is a key player in the food manufacturing industry and is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join their quality team! This role supports food safety, quality assurance, and operational initiatives by performing routine laboratory testing and analytical evaluations on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods Located in Mt. Joy, PA 6 month contract to hire

Pay:

$18-20/hour Responsibilities Perform routine analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Conduct quantitative and qualitative laboratory inspections following established procedures. Monitor laboratory instrumentation and perform calibration checks, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting. Accurately document and communicate test results using laboratory databases and reporting systems. Maintain laboratory records, customer specifications, and testing documentation. Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements through proper testing and documentation practices. Support food safety and quality initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams. Assist with laboratory trials, experiments, and more complex testing activities under guidance. Follow all laboratory safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and company policies. Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and technical manuals. Prepare routine reports and maintain accurate laboratory records. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field preferred. Previous laboratory, quality assurance, food manufacturing, or analytical testing experience is preferred. Ability to accurately perform routine laboratory testing and maintain detailed documentation. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
