Months Job Duties:
Perform routine analytical testing and laboratory analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Conduct quantitative and qualitative laboratory inspections to support food safety and quality initiatives. Monitor analytical instrumentation performance, perform calibration checks, preventive maintenance, and basic equipment repairs. Accurately document test results in laboratory databases and communicate findings to internal stakeholders. Maintain laboratory records, customer specification documents, and testing documentation. Support food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance programs by following established procedures and standards. Assist with laboratory trials, experiments, and testing activities under intermediate supervision. Ensure adherence to laboratory safety procedures, operating instructions, and quality standards. Prepare routine reports and maintain accurate laboratory records and correspondence. Escalate complex technical or laboratory issues to appropriate personnel while independently handling routine testing activities.
Job Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related scientific field. Experience working in a laboratory, food testing, quality control, or related scientific environment. Experience performing routine laboratory testing and documenting results. Ability to operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow laboratory procedures and safety guidelines. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate records. Nice to Have Knowledge of laboratory quality systems and regulatory compliance. Nice to Have Experience with laboratory databases or laboratory information management systems (LIMS). 1+ years of experience in Biology/Chemistry/Food Science/Microbiology labs or any similar lab course. 1+ years of experience in NIR, Karl Fischer moisture analysis/fat analysis and Viscosity testing or quality testing
Schedule:
07:00 AM to 04:00 PM or 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM Monday through Friday HC01
Pay:
$21.00 per hour Application Question(s): Candidate must have associate or bachelor's degree in biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related scientific field
