Weekends and/or Holidays, with potential for weekdays Job Description ETT Environmental is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to support routine environmental laboratory operations in Sediment Toxicity Testing . This position assists with sample handling, laboratory testing activities, data collection, and general laboratory upkeep under established procedures and supervision. This role is well suited for candidates with a background in biology, environmental science, or a related field who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in a professional laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with routine daily laboratory and test maintenance: including sample preparation, test setup, observations, measurements, and accurate data recording in accordance with standard operating procedures Maintain laboratory work areas, equipment, and supplies while following safety guidelines, quality requirements, and project schedules under supervisor guidance Qualifications Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related scientific field preferred, but not required Willingness and availability to work weekends and holidays as required Skills & Abilities Basic understanding of laboratory practices and data documentation Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow written instructions and standard procedures Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency with spreadsheets and meticulous data entry Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not required.
