• Days What You'll Do Testing
• Performs processes associated with analytical testing of patient samples. Performs quality control testing to assure accuracy of patient testing. Performs equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Performs competency and proficiency testing to assure maintenance of skills. Documentation
• Maintains required documentation for all lab procedures. Processes requisitions for testing. Prepares and distributes reports. Utilizes appropriate LIS and/or other computer systems to perform daily tasks. Participates in implementation and compliance of regulatory standards. Education
• Successfully completes educational activities to continually improve skills and assists consultants. Performs all duties to satisfy regulations in preparation for inspections. Customer Support

What We're Looking For Education:

2 Year / Associate DegreeRequired Associate degree in chemical, physical, or biological science, or medical laboratory or equivalent education or training OR successfully completed military training of 50 or more weeks.

Experience:

One year experience as laboratory tech. (Clinical internships of twelve months duration meet this requirement).

Licensure/Certification:
