The Medical Technician (MT) is responsible for the prompt, efficient, and accurate performance for all tests and tasks assigned to him/her. Med Tech's Responsibilities include: Quality control , quality assurance, preventative maintenance, and patient testing. Collaboration with, Physician/ Laboratory Director on all aspects of patient care. Preparing samples for examination, using automated equipment and specialized instrumentation, performing numerous complicated tests simultaneously, and accurately interpreting the results.
