Tests and inspects aggregates product before, during, and after production, using a variety of testing devices and procedures to maintain product quality.
Job Responsibilities Follow the instruction of the QC Lead and QC Director Collect, weigh, test, and record samples of aggregates using various equipment and devices Perform work according to specification sheets and forward to supervisors as needed Maintain excellent communications with the QC and Operations Teams regarding product quality and standards. Meet or exceed company safety standards Perform other job responsibilities as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma with Higher-Level training preferred Superior oral and written communication skills Computer experience required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to pass TxDOT and ACI tests and understand technology Ability to understand basic statistics and mathematics Ability to work strenuously for at least a 12-hour shift Working Conditions Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors Long periods of standing and/or walking required Must wear protective equipment while in the plants and loud areas of the lab Be able to work all hours required Physical Requirements Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, climbing to a significant degree, and/or pulling of controls
