Responsibilities Assist licensed therapists in delivering manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and myofascial release to patients across outpatient, inpatient, and post-acute settings Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for therapy sessions Support patient intake processes by gathering relevant health history and explaining procedures to ensure comfort and understanding Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, documenting progress and any adverse reactions accurately Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans and communicate treatment updates effectively Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, including techniques used, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations Uphold safety standards by adhering to hospital protocols, medical terminology guidelines, and infection control procedures Requirements Demonstrated experience in patient service and patient care within clinical or hospital environments Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to manual therapy practices Prior hospital or outpatient clinic experience in acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, or sub-acute care settings preferred Familiarity with inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation processes and post-acute care protocols Ability to support intake procedures by collecting relevant health information efficiently Knowledge of hospital medicine practices and familiarity with medical documentation standards Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of diverse backgrounds and healthcare professionals Certification or training related to manual therapy techniques is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn required skills is essential Embark on a rewarding career path where your hands-on expertise helps patients regain strength and mobility.
