A Medical Laboratory Technician helps with the performance of laboratory tests in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology laboratories, which provide information for medical patient diagnosis and treatment. Sets up, operates, and maintains laboratory equipment, makes observations, and calculates and records results; receives, types, tests, and records blood bank inventories.

Job Description
- This is a Full-Time Nights Position.
- 8:30 pm to 7:00 am.
- Job Summary
- The Medical Lab Technician is responsible for conducting routine and specialized diagnostic tests on blood, body fluids, and other specimens to support accurate and timely patient diagnosis and care.
- Essential Functions
- + Performs moderate and high-complexity laboratory tests accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely reporting of results with proper documentation.
- Qualifications
- + Associate Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology required or + Technical School completion of an official military Medical Laboratory Procedures course (50 weeks minimum) and holding the military occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist required + 0-2 years of acute care laboratory experience required
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- + Strong knowledge of laboratory testing principles, procedures, and quality control standards.
- Licenses and Certifications
