Job Description

Summary/Objective The Quality Control Laboratory Technician is responsible for supporting Quality Control laboratory operation through performing basic laboratory tasks, sample analysis, and assisting Analysts as required. Essential Functions Ensures Quality Control laboratory is clean and organized Maintains stock of clean glassware for all Quality Control requirements Monitors and re-stocks supplies as required Stores and files samples in the cold room according to established conventions Maintains equipment calibration Performs material testing Supports sensory evaluation process Manages expired inventory process Understands and follows standard operating procedures Performs data entry Supervisory responsibilities Assist any laboratory interns through training and guiding daily tasks Other duties Trains new lab technicians and intern as required Accomplishes special projects and laboratory tasks as assigned Travel requirements Occasional travel between facilities Required education and experience Bachelors or Associates Degree in Chemistry or other Natural Science Preferred education and experience Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or other Natural Science Experience working in a laboratory Additional eligibility requirements Valid Driver's License Work authorization/security clearance requirements Background Check
