Mountain Shadow Nursery is a nursery that specializes in micropropagation or tissue culture of plants, including ornamental trees, shrubs, and fruit crops. This is a production-oriented position that focuses on propagating and shipping our young plants. Work is indoors in a very clean work environment. No experience is needed, but the applicant must be a quick learner, follow directions, be accurate, and work productively. Additional consideration will be given to applicants who can demonstrate exceptional skills working with their hands (including hobbies) and/or experience being self-motivated and thriving in a fast-paced or production-oriented environment. Work Hours

• Full-time, 40 hours/week.
• Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Responsibilities
• -Trimming and transferring plant cuttings
• -Shipping plant cuttings to our customers
• -Dishwashing vessels and clean-up
• -Moving and stocking supplies Job Requirements We are looking for applicants who demonstrate:
• -Excellent manual dexterity in both hands
• -Ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently
• -Positive attitude and high energy In addition, the candidate must be:
• -Able to sit for 8 hours a day while performing repetitive tasks with both hands.
• -Able to stand for 8 hours a day, while frequently lifting and carrying​ 8 to 20 pounds.
• -Able to lift and carry 20 lbs. routinely and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• -Self-motivated.
• -Able to read and follow instructions correctly.
• -Detail oriented with excellent record keeping skills.
• -Minimum education: high school diploma; GED or greater.
