Months Job Duties:
Conduct routine quantitative and qualitative laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products. Perform routine analysis and product testing under intermediate supervision. Run calibration checks, preventive maintenance, and simple repairs on laboratory instrumentation. Monitor instrumentation performance and ensure testing accuracy. Interpret and document test results into databases and communicate findings to internal teams. Support food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, SOPs, and compliance programs. Support laboratory trials, experiments, and process improvement activities. Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and reports. Handle clerical, technical, and administrative laboratory support activities. Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Maintain a safe and clean laboratory and manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Recent 1+ years of experience in laboratory/chemist/microbiologist Experience in laboratory testing, food manufacturing, quality control, or analytical testing. Ability to document and communicate test results accurately. Basic computer and data entry skills. Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating procedures. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat and dusty conditions. Ability to stand for extended periods, climb, and crawl as needed. Experience in food safety or quality assurance environments preferred. Experience with laboratory instrumentation calibration and preventive maintenance preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards preferred. Experience working in manufacturing or production facilities preferred.
