13079 Central Peninsula Hospital| Soldotna| AK Behavioral Health Full Time, Day, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (08:30am- 5:00pm)
POSITION SUMMARY
Performs administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a Physician, Advanced Nurse or Physician Assistant. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, accessing the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients/clients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications or treatments as directed by the Medical Provider. The Behavioral Health Medical Assistant may also participate in activities such as individual and group therapy, day treatment services, crisis intervention, case management, client advocacy, supported living services, community living services, and education.
REQUIREMENTS
Completion of an LPN degree or certificate program 2 years of experience in a Healthcare setting State of Alaska Licensed Practice Nursing License BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association State of Alaska Driver's License At CPH, we value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth.
