LPN Evening Shift Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting. Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders. Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions. Recognize changes in condition and communicate clinical concerns promptly. Maintain accurate and timely electronic nursing documentation. Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure quality resident care. Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs. Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards. Qualifications Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing experience preferred but not required. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
