Northport, AL Base Pay:
$25.00-$29.55 per hour (based on experience)
Shift:
7:00 AM-3:00 PM Join Our Team Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and flexible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Float Nurse to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team on the 7:00 AM-3:00 PM day shift . As a Float Nurse , you'll support multiple nursing units, providing exceptional resident care wherever you're needed most. This role is ideal for an LPN who enjoys variety, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping both residents and fellow team members succeed. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Float Nurse Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting. Float between nursing units to support resident care and staffing needs. Assess, monitor, and document changes in resident conditions. Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders. Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members. Maintain accurate electronic nursing documentation. Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Respond promptly to changes in resident condition. Promote resident safety, infection prevention, and quality care throughout the facility. Qualifications Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to adapt quickly while working across multiple nursing units.
