Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead and coordinate nursing services within our healthcare facility. This pivotal role involves overseeing patient care delivery, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a collaborative environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes. The Nurse Manager will serve as a key leader in maintaining high standards of clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and staff development. Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff across various departments, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and procedures Coordinate patient assessments, medical documentation, and care plans aligned with best practices in acute and long-term care settings Oversee compliance with HIPAA, state healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards such as NCQA standards Manage staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and ongoing training initiatives to promote professional growth Facilitate communication between interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and administrative personnel to optimize patient care Monitor clinical operations utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Point Click Care to ensure accurate documentation and efficient workflow Implement quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, infection control, medication administration, and nursing policy compliance Requirements Valid RN/LPN license with current licensure in the relevant state Proven leadership experience in nursing management within acute care, critical care, or long-term care environments Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, and medical documentation standards Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, patient assessment protocols, and healthcare compliance standards Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage complex workflows effectively Familiarity with behavioral health, dementia care, geriatrics, pediatric care including neonatal ventilator management preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and regulatory adherence Join us as a Nurse Manager where your leadership will directly impact patient lives while fostering a supportive environment for your team.
