Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our healthcare team in overseeing nursing operations within our nursing home. This leadership role requires a strong background in nursing administration, supervision, and clinical care, with a focus on ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of medical terminology, EMR/EHR systems, and Medicare guidelines, along with proven management and supervising experience. Qualifications:
Current LPN or RN license in the State of Arkansas Ability to plan, supervise, and evaluate nursing care
Position Summary:
The RN is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during their shift, ensuring high-quality resident care in compliance with physician orders and facility policies. This role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating care plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide and oversee comprehensive patient care Supervise and direct nursing assistants and unit staff Ensure accurate charting, medication administration, and care documentation Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, weights, and treatment plans Maintain confidentiality and professional standards Participate in staff training, orientation, and committee activities Review narcotic records and required clinical documentation Assist in leadership duties as assigned, including covering for the Director of Nursing when needed
