LPN:
Variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on unit need. Refer back to posting on which shift is available. Weekend and holiday shifts are required. This position is based within Jefferson Regional Nursing Departments. Refer back to posting on location.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Clinical Manager and Registered Nurse, the LPN performs delegated task in facilitating the quality of care for an assigned caseload of patients. This includes collecting data, competently performing select nursing procedures and assuming responsibility for the appropriate utilization of resources, collaborating with medical staff and others in the provision of care, and demonstrating positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution.
LPN Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing school diploma required.

Technical or Associate Degree in practical nursing required. This is a Safety Sensitive Position.•Adequate verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teamsCapacity to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionalsBasic competency in documenting patient information accuratelyBasic flexibility to adapt to changes in patient conditions and unit prioritiesAttention to detailProvides compassionate support to patients and families, ensuring positive environment in the hospital1-2 years of clinical experience, particularly in an acute care setting preferredProficiency in electronic documentation preferredStrong analytical and problem solving skills preferred.
