Indah Recovery is a 6-bed detox/residential facility. We are looking for an LVN for the following shifts Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm 1. Completion of detoxification-related duties such as completion of CIWA, Cows, Ciwa-B, Vital Signs, Nursing Assessments, and other IMS-related functions. 2. Observe patient self-administration of medications. 3. Documentation in the patient file. 4. Communication with IMS physician and other outside physicians where outside referral may be indicated. 5. Records patient observations and activities in patients records accurately and timely in accordance with DHCS regulations and company policies and procedures. 6. Actively and compassionately interact with patients to encourage engagement in treatment after completion of detoxification services. 7. Perform routine laboratory procedures such as preparation of lab sheets and basic preparation of testing materials. 8. Conducts non-technical routine laboratory tests and procedures under the direction of professional staff. 9. Opens, separates, numbers, and arranges specimens for laboratory examination and trace/document results. 10. Document lab results in the patient file. 11. Maintain inventory of supplies. 12. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and clean the work area after use. 13. Provide patient education on health care, as assigned or appropriate. 14. Implements safety and emergency procedures during fire drills and other disaster procedures, with assistance to patients in the detox and residential programs. 15. Attends regularly scheduled detox staff meetings. 16. Follows all policies and procedures with regard to patient information protection, including alcohol-drug patient confidentiality (42 CFR) and HIPAA (45 CFR). Maintains and demonstrates current working knowledge of applicable clinical procedures and nursing care based on the company policy and State and Federal guidelines.

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
