Available Schedules:

Full-time:

7 hours per day, 5 days per week, offering consistent involvement in the school environment. Part-time Option 1: 2 days per week (Monday and Wednesday), primarily monitoring a diabetic student while providing office and medication support as needed. Part-time Option 2: 1 day per week (Monday), centering on office support and medication administration.

Qualifications:

Active California LVN license. Previous school nursing or pediatric experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational abilities. Capable of administering medications, monitoring student health conditions, and maintaining accurate health records. Compassionate, patient-centered approach and the adaptability to handle changing situations in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily office support to the school health team. Administer medications and perform health procedures per physician orders. Monitor and report on specific student health needs, including diabetes management. Collaborate with school staff and families to promote a healthy learning environment. Maintain documentation and comply with state and district protocols.
