The LVN in the Medical Unit is responsible for providing patient care in a safe and effective manner. Additional responsibilities include directing the Patient Care Assistant activity, synthesizing patient information, performing focused assessments of patients, reviewing discharge instructions, implementing treatment plan/MD orders, and documenting and evaluating per unit standards. Collaboration between healthcare team members and integration of patient care standards are incorporated into all clinical activities. Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
