Distinctive Healthcare is currently seeking to hire a full time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Federal Correctional Institution, FCI Herlong. Key Responsibilities Monitor and record patient vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms. Administer prescribed medications, injections, and routine vaccinations as directed. Provide basic bedside care, including dressing wounds, inserting catheters, and assisting with personal hygiene. Collect samples for laboratory testing and perform routine routine tests. Update electronic health records (EHR) accurately and report changes in patient status to nursing supervisors. Educate patients and their families on care plans and home care instructions. Qualifications and Skills Completion of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program. Current, unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience working in a clinical, hospital, or long-term care setting preferred. Excellent clinical judgment, time management, and communication skills.
