The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of and ability to apply principles of nursing care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The ideal candidate is providing direct nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and facility regulations. This position focuses on administering medications, monitoring resident conditions, documenting care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality resident outcomes. Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely according to physician orders. Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and adverse reactions. Document medication administration in PCC. Report medication discrepancies, errors, or concerns promptly. Observe and report changes in resident physical, mental, and emotional conditions. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed. Respond to resident and family concerns professionally and promptly. Ensure resident rights, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality are maintained. Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation in PCC. Maintain treatment records, progress notes, incident reports, and physician communications. Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Work with the clinical team to provide excellent resident care.
