This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with medically fragile students as an itinerant Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), ensuring they receive the attentive, compassionate care they need to thrive in their educational journey. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid LVN/LPN license in California Prior experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is required Proficiency in caring for students with diverse medical needs including seizure disorders, diabetes/insulin management (CGM, carb counting), ASD and developmental delays, hypo- and hyperglycemia Skilled in medical procedures such as gastronomy care, bladder cauterization, and medication administration (epinephrine pens, Benadryl, etc.) Able to provide staff training and be responsive to urgent health needs Comfortable rotating between multiple campuses and students Excellent communication skills for connecting with parents and staff, bilingual Spanish a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Review and implement seizure and individualized health plans for students Train school staff in all relevant medical procedures and protocols Foster relationships with students and parents to ensure understanding of care needs Be on-call for urgent health concerns during school hours Provide direct care to students ages 4-22 with a variety of health requirements
