Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed patient evaluations to determine care needs. Administer medications and injections safely, including IV infusions, Botox treatments such as botulinum toxin therapy, and other prescribed therapies following aseptic techniques. Perform specialized procedures such as catheterization, suturing, ostomy care, and wound management to support patient recovery and comfort. Coordinate care plans with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and documentation standards using EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner. Conduct triage assessments over the phone or in person to prioritize urgent cases and facilitate appropriate interventions across emergency medicine, urgent care, or primary care settings. Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, processing, and understanding of

ICD-10/ICD-9

coding for accurate medical records documentation. Support patients with complex needs such as memory care, behavioral health issues, hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, or those with developmental disabilities by delivering tailored nursing interventions. Qualifications Valid RN or LVN license with current state certification required; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are essential. Demonstrated experience working in diverse clinical settings including hospital medicine, ICU/trauma centers (Level I & II trauma experience preferred), emergency room experience, or long-term care facilities. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards. Strong clinical skills including IV insertion, medication administration (including pain management), sterile processing techniques, and laboratory procedures. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special populations such as dementia or Alzheimer's care is highly valued. Knowledge of critical care procedures like ventilator management, telemetry monitoring, airway management, and neonatal resuscitation procedures is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and case management; ability to work independently while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
