Responsibilities As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will: Collaborate with RNs regarding patients medications, physical status, psychological well being and Plan of Care. Implement and monitor patients detoxification protocols. Administer medications according to physician orders and safe medication administration practices. Provide patient education regarding medications and treatments. Communicate patients concerns, outcomes, needs and status to the nursing team. Demonstrate ability to use various forms of therapeutic communication when interacting with patients. Demonstrate the ability to work as a productive member of the nursing team. Demonstrate knowledge of the Twelve Step Program.
