- 1 Year Recent LVN Exp, in last 3 years without gap CA state LVN license, AHA BLS Drivers License Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care in a supportive and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques. Assist in the coordination of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the facility. Requirements Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licence from an accredited nursing programme. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Basic life support (BLS) certification is preferred. Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not mandatory for new graduates. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by patient needs.
