Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available near Longmont, CO for an experienced LPN/LVN to provide dedicated care to a medically fragile child in a school setting. This important assignment extends throughout the entire academic year (180 days) as well as the month of June, Monday through Thursday. The ideal candidate will bring compassion, clinical proficiency, and a dependable work ethic to support a student's unique health needs alongside the educational team.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid LPN or LVN license in the state of Colorado Previous experience working in school environments preferred Clinical proficiency managing G-Tubes, oxygen support, and oral suctioning Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities Positive, patient-centered attitude and excellent communication skills Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to continuity of care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver daily health and nursing care to a medically fragile student in a school setting Monitor and manage specialized medical needs including G-Tube feeding, oxygen therapy, and oral suction as required Respond to emergencies and adapt to changing medical needs promptly Maintain accurate and compliant health records and documentation Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and the student's family to ensure a safe and inclusive environment Foster an atmosphere of trust and reassurance for the student and all stakeholders If you are passionate about pediatric nursing and eager to make a direct impact in a supportive educational setting, we welcome you to apply for this rewarding role.
