LPN Full Job Description Position Overview:
Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support primary care services in a medical practice. The role involves assisting clinicians with patient examinations, preparing materials and equipment, and collecting patient histories. Responsibilities include processing specimens, performing point-of-care testing, administering medications and vaccinations, and instructing patients and families on preventive care and treatment adherence. The LPN communicates test results, follow-up instructions, and clinician guidelines to patients, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Active LPN license (state-specific) BLS certification within 30 days Ability to travel between practice locations as needed Dependable attendance and adherence to compliance standards Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Light physical effort, exerting up to 10 lbs. force Generally pleasant working conditions with minimal manual dexterity requirements
