LPN - PEDIATRIC DIABETES
School Setting | $40.00/hour | 6:45 AM - 4:00 PM The Nurse Network is seeking an experienced LPN to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care to a pediatric student with diabetes.
REQUIREMENTS
Active CT LPN License 1+ year LPN experience 1+ year pediatric nursing experience Pediatric diabetes management experience
REQUIRED
Insulin pump management
REQUIRED
CGM/Dexcom experience
REQUIRED
Omnipod experience
REQUIRED
Reliable and comfortable working independently
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day Monitor blood glucose and manage diabetes care Manage insulin pump and CGM Administer insulin/medications as ordered Follow the student's diabetes care plan Support the student during meals, activities, and transportation Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with the care team Dexcom and Omnipod experience strongly preferred/required based on assignment needs.
