Job Description

Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to provide direct, personalized care while positively impacting a young student's school experience. This full-time, contract position involves working closely with a first-grade student, focusing on their feeding and hydration needs via tube, and supporting their participation in classroom activities. Your expertise will help foster both the student's health and educational growth, making every school day a chance to make a real difference.
Position Details:
Full-time contract role, starting ASAP through June 9, 2027, with potential for renewal based on fit and performance. Engage with a first-grade student in a 1:1 capacity, building a strong, supportive relationship. Monitor and manage tube feeding and hydration, ensuring safe and compassionate care throughout the school day. Assist with educational activities, promoting inclusion and learning. Collaborate with school staff and families to support the student's well-being and academic progress.
Qualifications:
Active LPN or RN licensure in Connecticut, or CNA certification. Experience in a school or pediatric setting is advantageous. Familiarity with tube feeding and hydration protocols. Strong communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor. Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with children.
Benefits and Perks:
LPNs can expect hourly compensation between $40 and $42, RNs between $45 and $47, and CNAs between $28 and $30. Weekly pay keeps your finances on track.
