Licensed Practical Nurse- Preadmission - ( 260003P8 ) Description Works under the direct supervision and responsibility when working in an TGHN clinic, a clinic provider or when working on a nursing unit the hospital nursing leader. Assists staff, and providers with patient care, clerical, and organizational tasks using a team-based approach in providing patient care. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the care services. May be assigned to specific medical specialty (e.g. medical/surgical, orthopedics, telemetry, and other units) to help with patient care related to that specialty or may be expected to cross-cover multiple specialties based on competency. Works closely with supervisor to assure responsibilities defined below are fulfilled in a timely manner Qualifications License Issued by Florida or Compact State LPN Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
