Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Job Overview:
- As an LPN, you will be responsible for various tasks to ensure the well-being of our patients. This includes administering medications, treatments, and therapies, conducting assessments, coordinating care, documenting patient progress, providing education to patients and their families, and communicating effectively with physicians regarding patient care.
Duties:
- Implementing physicians' treatment plans
- Assessing and coordinating patient care
- Administering medications, treatments, and therapies
- Documenting all care provided accurately
- Educating and training family members on patient care
- Accepting and transcribing verbal orders from physicians
- Communicating with physicians regarding patient conditions
Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- Recent TB skin test or Chest X-ray within the last 12 months
- Minimum of six months hands-on nursing experience
- Reliable transportation for commuting to different locations
Skills:
knowledge of emergency medicine protocols, Tube Feeding management, Seizure management proficiency in pain management techniques, background in occupational health standards, and experience in senior care.
