Full Time LPN Gilmer County Jail | Ellijay, Georgia Monday through Friday | 5:30 AM Start | 8 Hour Shifts Your Weekdays. Your Skills. Your Impact. We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Gilmer County Jail . This is an opportunity to put your nursing skills to work in a setting where every shift matters and every patient deserves quality care. What You'll Be Doing As an LPN, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day healthcare of our patients, including: Administering medications and treatments as ordered Completing medication passes safely and accurately Monitoring patients and recognizing changes in condition Assisting with sick call and intake screenings Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records Working alongside providers and other healthcare professionals Providing compassionate, professional patient care Helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff What We're Looking For Current, unrestricted Georgia LPN license Current CPR certification Strong assessment and medication administration skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative healthcare team Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required Full Time Benefits Package We believe taking care of our team is just as important as taking care of our patients.
