In Person About The Falls at Blue Ridge Nestled in the mountains of Blue Ridge, The Falls at Blue Ridge offers an elevated fine-dining experience featuring exceptional cuisine, polished service, and a breathtaking estate with a natural waterfall. We are seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced Mixologist / Craft Cocktail Bartender to join our team and help elevate our beverage program. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who takes pride in exceptional service, presentation, attention to detail, and creating memorable guest experiences. Requirements Previous bartending or mixology experience in a fine-dining, upscale, or high-volume environment Extensive knowledge of premium spirits, wines, classic cocktails, and contemporary mixology Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, techniques, and presentation Ability to create balanced and innovative cocktails using fresh ingredients and quality products Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to provide thoughtful beverage recommendations and pairings Impeccable attention to cleanliness, glassware, garnishes, and overall bar presentation Professional, polished, and well-groomed appearance Reliable and punctual Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-standard environment Experience with private events, weddings, and large-format bar service is a plus TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages with accuracy and consistency Deliver exceptional, personalized service to every guest Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and sanitation standards Operate the POS system accurately for orders and payments Monitor bar inventory and communicate restocking needs to management Work closely with the kitchen and service team during dinner service, weddings, and private events Maintain consistent cocktail recipes, presentation, and portion standards Stay knowledgeable about spirits, wines, cocktails, and current beverage trends Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown as needed Promote an elevated guest experience through professionalism, product knowledge, and genuine hospitality Qualifications Bartending / Mixology experience Serving experience preferred Bartender License or applicable local certification TABC Certification preferred Driver's License Food Handler Certification Strong knowledge of responsible alcohol service Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $8.00 per hour + tips Pay based on experience Strong earning potential through tips Flexible scheduling Employee discount Vacation time & sick days Opportunity to work in an upscale, luxury hospitality environment Beautiful mountain estate setting Growth opportunities within the beverage program Opportunities for leadership and advancement What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who understands that bartending at a fine-dining property is more than making drinks.
