You'll work closely with teachers, staff, and family to deliver consistent healthcare and help your student thrive during school hours. This assignment runs from October 5, 2026, to December 18, 2026, with the possibility of extension. The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and does not require any bus riding. Your expertise and commitment will be key in supporting this child's daily learning experience. What we're looking for: Current LPN/LVN license in good standing Experience with central lines and G-tube care Comfortable working 1:1 with kindergarten-age children in a school environment Strong communication skills to coordinate with teachers and parents Ability to maintain detailed records and follow established care plans Compassionate, patient, and professional approach to child healthcare Key responsibilities: Provide direct care and monitoring for the student during school hours Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor and troubleshoot the central line and G-tube according to physician orders Communicate health observations and updates to the school team and family Ensure safety protocols and documentation are followed daily Support the student's participation in classroom activities as able Enjoy the stability of weekly paychecks, access to healthcare benefits, and the option to contribute to a 401k—all as a W-2 hourly contract nurse.
